Countus and VSO makelaars & appraisers have started the Boerenkavel exchange foundation. The aim is to give a new impulse to lot exchange in Flevoland. For example, the initiators will announce 22 February through a press release.
The initiators notice that there is still a strong need for plot exchange in the agricultural sector. "We see that the need for land is great and that many farmers have remote plots. We want to initiate land mobility with plot exchange," says Dijan Bruins, regional director at Countus.
Lot exchange coordinators and cost reduction
The foundation works with plot exchange coordinators, who must inventory the plot exchange needs, have a total overview, know the area and the grounds and bring together and guide the land owners. "It is important that we not only provide financial and legal support, but that we also help the farmers among themselves. This is to ensure that the exchanges actually take place," says Bruins.
Mark Onderdijk, director and broker at VSO Makelaars, says that plot exchange can immediately reduce the cost price. "We don't think in areas, but in plots. If we can come to an exchange with 3 or 4 farmers, then we will do it. This allows the exchange to come about quickly and quickly yields positive results."
No customer
Interested parties do not have to be a customer of Countus or VSO Makelaars. The initiators ask for a fixed amount per hectare. Both parties intend to roll out the idea nationwide in due course.
