The province of Flevoland has opened the subsidy scheme 'Investments in infrastructure for the development, modernization or adaptation of agricultural companies'. The aim of the scheme is to improve the allotment structure of the agricultural sector in Flevoland. The province reports this on its website.
The main aim of the subsidy scheme is to improve the subdivision structure of the Flevoland agricultural sector. In doing so, the province emphasizes the importance of optimizing the agricultural infrastructure. With this she hopes to increase the future prospects of farmers in the province.
Amount of €2 million
In total, an amount of €2.060.000 is available for the measure. That money will be made available for drawing up 1 plan, with which a province-wide improvement of the agricultural infrastructure can be realized.
However, there is a condition attached to that plan, namely that every exchange resulting from the plan contributes to social goals (for example, sustainable agriculture and biodiversity). A maximum contribution of €1.250 per hectare of plot improvement has been established.
Based on a tender
The grant will be awarded on the basis of a tender. The highest scoring application is eligible for the grant. The processing time, after the closing of the opening period, is 22 weeks. The grants are expected to be awarded in the autumn of 2018.
De subsidy scheme is open from Monday 5 March to Friday 11 May 2018. Applications can be submitted via the website of the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO.nl).
