The Central Government Real Estate Agency (RVB) has offered 686 hectares of agricultural land in the IJsselmeer polders as deregulated lease. It concerns 26 lots with an agricultural destination. This year the auction will no longer go through the Troostwijk auction house, due to last year's problems.
The 26 lots are located in the Noordoostpolder, Southern and Eastern Flevoland and the Wieringermeer. The land is currently used as arable land. However, what is striking is that this year the public registration will no longer take place via auction house Troostwijk.
This is because the auction last year didn't go well. It was then possible to tick an option with which bidders could receive the highest bid by email 1 hour before closing time. This is not usual with a closed public tender.
Bidding through the notary
The RVB addressed Troostwijk about this at the time. The consequence of the situation is that from now on the auctions will no longer be conducted via Troostwijk. From this year on, it has been decided to have the auctions run through the notary, and participation is therefore possible by placing a bid on 1 or more lots at the notary.
The issuance period differs per lot and varies from 2 to 6 years. The lots were issued for 4 to 5 years last year. The exact location, associated information and details of the registration can be found via www.biedboek.nl.
