Milk price DOC Cheese from January in sideways mode

In January, the milk price of DOC Kaas moves almost sideways. In December there was still an increase of 2,03 euros per 100 kg of milk. Of this, 1 euro could be made possible by the severance payment of the members who canceled their membership on 1 January. 

Since August, DOC Kaas/DMK has been able to record higher milk prices again. Until December, the milk price increased by 54 percent. Despite the increases, the milk price is still below the lowest in the Netherlands. In January, the milk price will go to EUR 32,66, delivered at 600.000 kilos per year with 4,41 percent fat and 3,47 percent protein. The price of fat climbs by 10 cents to 2,93 euros, while the price of protein is 5,861 euros. 

The milk price of DOC Kaas includes a PZ levy of 0,23 euros. Apart from that, a sustainability premium of 0,90 euros per 100 kg of milk can be earned. From 2017 there will be a separate grazing allowance that can rise to 1,75 euros per 100 kg of milk.
