Milk price Cono holds for January

Cono's milk price will not move in January. It remains at a comfortably high level. This makes it the third month in a row that the cheese maker from the Beemster can pay a milk price above 35 euros.

For a delivery of 600.000 kg of milk, the cheesemaker charges a price of 38,24 euros per 100 kg of milk. Because no quantity surcharge is paid, the price only increases for more liters because the fixed costs can then be spread over more liters.
At Cono, dairy farmers can earn a premium of 2 euros for grazing. You can also earn a bonus of 0,75 euros by participating in Caring Dairy. The ZuivelNL financing increases from 5 cents to 0,23 euros per 100 kg of milk.
