Strike through standstill FrieslandCampina

22 February 2017 - Redactie Boerenbusiness - 4 comments

FrieslandCampina announces that the standstill measure will expire from 1 March. Then the LU scheme will apply and the standstill will no longer have any function. The dairy farmer then counts on the LU scheme to provide less milk.

As FrieslandCampina had previously promised, the standstill will lapse from the moment the LU scheme comes into effect. This happens on March 1. In January, the standstill was already able to counteract further growth of the milk lake.

The dairyman indicates that it is expected that the package of measures for phosphate reduction will reduce milk production. 'As a result, the milk supply decreases and this comes into balance with the available own and hired processing capacity.' Lack of processing capacity was the reason for the standstill.

Lack of processing capacity.. what a bullshit story!!!!!!
According to an employee on the work floor in Veghel, full loads of milk come from Germany!!!! Dutch dairy farmers have dug their own hole with RFC. The profit fills their pockets but not ours.!!
