Zuivelcoöperatie FrieslandCampina will investigate the sale of Riedel, the market leader in fruit juices and drinks in the Netherlands. The company announced that.

Roelof Joosten, CEO of FrieslandCampina: 'As a result of the updating of our group strategy, in which we place more emphasis on the dairy portfolio, we are investigating the sale of our fruit juices and fruit drinks activities.'

Appelsientje and CoolBest fall under Riedel

FrieslandCampina wants to ensure that Riedel is well positioned to play and respond to changing customer demands and consumption habits. The consolidated net sales of the products in 2016 amounted to approximately 125 million euros. 

Riedel includes Appelsientje, CoolBest. DubbelFriss, Taksi and Extran. The company is part of the FrieslandCampina Consumer Products Europe, Middle East & Asia division
