Vreugdenhil raises basic milk price

The higher values for fat and protein translate into a milk price of 33,45 euros per 100 kg of milk, at 4,41 percent fat and 3,47 percent protein. This includes an annual supply of 600.000 kg. For 800.000 kg of milk the price is 33,72 euros and 1,1 million kg of milk yields a price of 34 euros per 100 kg of milk. A decrease of 3,11 euros per 100 kg of milk.
Although the year has not started badly in terms of price formation, tension is now starting to increase. This is due to the drastic turn that the milk powder market has taken. In the near future, the milk price will be on so-called thin ice.
The dairy processor gives dairy farmers the opportunity to receive a premium of up to 2,10 euros on the milk price. Whereby 1,50 euros can be earned by applying grazing and sustainability yields a bonus of 0,60 euros. The premium for quality is included in the milk price. Separately, 0,23 euros will be deducted from the milk price for the ZuivelNL schemes.
