Milk price Cono remains well above 35 euros
Cono has so far maintained the leading position in terms of milk price in May. Previously, FrieslandCampina and DOC Kaas also kept the milk price stable. In the meantime, the tension about the milk price for June of DOC Kaas is increasing. This is because the temperature in cheese rises quickly.

Cono Kaasmakers announces that it will keep the milk price stable in May. This means that the valuation for protein remains at 3,27 euros per kilo of fat, against a price of 7,29 euros per kilo of protein.

With an annual supply of 600.000 kilos of milk, the milk price remains at 35,79 euros per 100 kilos of milk. This at 4,41 percent fat and 3,47 percent protein. The annual average so far amounts to 36,46 euros per 100 kilos of milk. This means that the processor remains a leader within the Dutch borders.
Earn premium
At Cono, dairy farmers can earn a premium of 2 euros for grazing. By participating in Caring Dairy, you can also earn a bonus of 0,75 euros. ZuivelNL's financing amounts to 0,23 euros per 100 kilos of milk. In addition, you can participate in a pilot GMO-free milk. This results in a bonus of 1 euro per 100 kilos of milk.
