Milk price Bel Leerdammer steps up

The milk prices of dairies who publish afterwards are trickling within these days. This also applies to the milk price of Bel Leerdammer. In June, barely €2 per 100 kilos will be added.

In the first 5 months of this year, Bel Leerdammer's milk price remained stuck at €34,27 per 100 kilos. A stable first half year was therefore in prospect. However, fat and protein prices will increase in June. Both the fat and protein prices increase by €1 per kilo. This results in a fat price of €0,25 per kilo and a protein price of €3,30 per kilo.

with 600.000 kilos of milk

With an annual supply of 600.000 kilos of milk, this results in a milk price of €36,24 per 100 kilos. Dairy farmers who supply 800.000 kilos of milk per year are rewarded with a milk price of €36,48. An annual delivery of 1,1 million kilos is paid out at €36,67 per 100 kilos.

Sustainability allowance
A sustainability bonus of up to €0,60 per 100 kilos of milk and a grazing premium of €2 per 100 kilos of milk can be earned at Leerdammer. The quality of milk is also rewarded with a premium of €0,50 per 100 kilos of milk. This means that a maximum premium of €3,10 can be earned. Per 100 kilos of milk, €0,23 goes to ZuivelNL.
