FrieslandCampina new sponsor Lotto-Jumbo

FrieslandCampina gets into cycling. The dairy company becomes co-sponsor of the Dutch cycling team Lotto-Jumbo. Today, Monday 17 July, during the rest day Tour de France, the 3-year sponsorship contract will be signed.

FrieslandCampina thus becomes the fifth major sponsor of Lotto-Jumbo. The name of the new protein-rich sports nutrition line Vifit Sport will adorn the uniform. Lotto, Jumbo, BrandLoyalty and Bianchi have been sponsors of the Dutch cycling team since 2015. Well-known riders such as Robert Gesink, Steven Kruijswijk and Dylan Groenewegen have joined the team. 

Dairy suits sports 
Roelof Joosten, CEO of FrieslandCampina says he is proud. ''With Vifit Sport we develop sports nutrition based on proteins from dairy, which contribute to a responsible lifestyle, an important pillar of our strategy.'' FrieslandCampina has also been associated with the NOC*NSF as a sponsor for 2 years.
