Organic guaranteed price falls below 50 euros

FrieslandCampina's guaranteed organic price for August will decrease by €1,50 to €48,75 per 100 kilos. This while the current milk price of dairy cooperative went up.

According to FrieslandCampina, the milk prices of the reference prices are relatively stable. The decrease is the result of the milk price in July, which was estimated too high at the time. In August, the protein value is €795,79, the fat value is €397,89 and the lactose value is €79,58 per 100 kilos.

The guaranteed price is based on 3,47% protein, 1,41% fat and 4,51% lactose with an annual supply of 600.000 kilos of milk.
