Zuivelcoöperatie FrieslandCampina nevertheless pays protest farmer Henk Gommer from Zevenhuizen for the milk supplied. In doing so, the dairy manufacturer is giving in to the fierce criticism of the sanctions policy.
The dairy farmer from Zevenhuizen refuses to the cycle pointer to fill in. Gommer claims that the system is unnecessary and also finds the system quite susceptible to fraud.
Reject data
FrieslandCampina responded to the refusal with a sanction and stopped taking milk from Henk Gommer. This led to strong criticism from many other livestock farmers. Nationally there are still about 60 dairy farmers who have not yet complied with the Kringloopwijzer obligation.
The dairy manufacturer now gives in to the criticism and still pays Gommer three quarters of his milk money. FrieslandCampina charges the remaining quarter as a fine for the refusal.
Charity
Gommer promised to donate the milk money to a good cause. The money is therefore donated to animal shelter Faunavisie Wildcare in Westernieland.
