Against the judge's decision

Martijn van Dam again on appeal

18 August 2017 - Kimberly Bakker - 5 comments

State Secretary Martijn van Dam will again appeal against the judge's ruling regarding the Phosphate Reduction Regulation 2017. The Ministry of Economic Affairs announced this on Friday, August 18. On 9 and 16 August, the judge in The Hague again granted a number of groups of dairy farmers postponement of the phosphate reduction plan.

The dairy farmers were in the right, because the preliminary relief judge saw insufficient reason to deviate from the decisions made on May 4, 2017 were taken.

This could jeopardize the derogation

No options to catch it
"If dairy farms choose to expand in the last months of the year, this will have consequences for the entire sector. There are no options from the government to absorb this within the phosphate reduction package. that the derogation could still be endangered," Van Dam said.

Responsibility
According to the State Secretary, this means that individual entrepreneurs and the sector have a great deal of responsibility. They must ensure that no relapse occurs.

first make a shitty plan with keesie Romijn and then ask for solidarity. These guys are a disgrace to the industry. I go my own way.
Hopefully the derogation will be fired. In any case, a level playing field.

Abolition of derogation that is only Liberation Day for the entire Dutch agriculture and horticulture. Thanks to derogation, can the extra manure that dairy farming has always been able to use be distributed over all crops in Dutch agriculture and horticulture, including profitable small crops?

is there anyone who feels responsible for the entrepreneurs who do not yet know how many cows they are allowed to keep this year?
I may remove the derogation, then justice will finally come.
