Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods has announced the protein and fat price for August. The milk price is rising along with the other dairies, but still remains at the bottom of the market. This is apparent from the Milk Price Comparator of Boerenbusiness.
For the month of August, Vreugdenhil increases the fat price by €0,30 to €3,80 per kilo. The protein price also increased slightly and amounts to €6,50. That is €0,20 more than in July. With an annual supply of 600.000 kilos, the milk price is €37,23 per 100 kilos.
In addition, there is a premium for grazing of a maximum of €1,50 and a sustainability allowance of a maximum of €0,60. From September to January, a winter milk surcharge of €3,90 per 100 kilos of milk is paid.
Comparable to FrieslandCampina
This means that Vreugdenhil pays out in August at a comparable level to market leader FrieslandCampina. The prices quoted are without pasture and sustainability premium and without transfer costs to ZuivelNL. The autumn/winter allowance comes into effect from September.
