27 September 2017 - Kimberly Bakker

Arla Foods has made the move to the Middle East. The dairy producer has launched organic dairy in that region. Arla will announce this on Tuesday, September 26.

The world's largest producer of organic dairy products is launching its products under the Arla Organic name. The Middle East is the largest growth region for the dairy, next to the markets in Europe. According to Arla, it is an important milestone in achieving their goals.

Also plans for Saudi Arabia and Kuwait

Number 1 dairy brand
The expansion into the Middle East is a significant step in Arla's growth plans. The company aims to be the leading dairy brand in the Middle East and North Africa by 2020. The dairy also has expansion plans for Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.

“We see a growing need for organic dairy products in the Middle East. We look forward to introducing our consumers in that region to Arla Organic's organic range,” said Rasmus Malmbak Kjeldsen, Arla's senior vice president of the Middle East. East and North Africa.

United Arab Emirates pioneer country
The United Arab Emirates (UAE), according to Arla, is a pioneering country in consumer trends. “We have observed a trend towards organic products there. By introducing Arla Organic first in the UAE, we are capitalizing on this trend. We want to collect crucial information about consumers of organic products and then use that information as we expand to adjacent markets," said Rasmus Malmbak Kjeldsen.
