Jaska de Bakker will become Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at FrieslandCampina as of 1 January 2018. She succeeds Hein Schumacher, who will start working as CEO of the company from that date. It is also new that Schumacher and De Bakker will be supported by a leadership team.
Since January 1, De Bakker has been involved in consumer products in Asia and Singapore in the position of financial director. A well-functioning part of the large cooperative dairy group. As of January 1, 2018, she will leave this position to take the step up to CFO.
Notable CV
The new role that De Bakker will occupy within FrieslandCampina follows on from an already remarkable CV. Before she started working for FrieslandCampina, she was CFO at Royal HaskoningDHV, and she held various business development and financial positions at LEAF/CSM. Before joining LEAF, she was a strategy consultant at The Boston Consulting Group, among others.
From January 1, 2018, Schumacher will take over from Roelof Joosten. In her position of CFO, De Bakker will be standing next to him. There will also be an executive leadership team that will manage the consumer dairy, specialized nutrition, ingredients and basic dairy components. FrieslandCampina China and a number of other business functions will also come under this team.
