Traders and intermediaries report that the number of transactions continues, but that it is quieter compared to last week. Suppliers of dairy cattle phosphate are more reluctant or ask too high a price.
Dairy farmers who want to purchase phosphate rights will wait until there is more clarity about the depreciability of the rights. The Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality is still in consultation with the Ministry of Finance about this.
