The milk price of dairy Arla in December remains on a par with this month. This is in contrast to FrieslandCampina, where the milk price is going down.

Arla's milk price remains the same in December: €35,27 per 100 kilos (at 4% fat and 3,4% protein). The fat price is €4,18 per kilo. Protein remains the same at €5,85 per kilo. At the same contents, the organic milk price also remains the same: €45,34 per 100 kilos.
Christmas production
According to Arla director Johnnie Russell, the stable milk price is due to Christmas production. In the longer term, Arla foresees some price pressure. This is due to falling dairy prices. Russel is mainly referring to the cheese price, which has fallen considerably this autumn.
