The price of Standard Brok A increased by €0,10 last month to €20,90 per 100 kilos. In June, before the downward trend started, Standard Brok A was still trading at €21,15 per 100 kilos. The compound feed price indicator predicts a price-containing trend in the coming months. Protein-rich chunks (B) have also increased, by €0,05 to €23,85 per 100 kilos. The price increase in November is a result of rising raw material prices.

Commodity prices directionless
The prices of various feed raw materials, which are listed in Rotterdam, have risen somewhat in recent weeks. Since mid-September, the price of EU feed barley has risen by around €10 to €165,50 per tonne.

EU feed wheat also rose in recent months, but fell again to €170 per tonne in early December. The price of corn has risen by €10 since the end of October to €169 per tonne. These raw materials are present in the various cattle feeds.

It is not so much expected that commodity prices on the futures markets will continue to rise. Analysts describe the commodity market as directionless. Large stocks block an upward trend wheatcorn en soybean, but at the same time there are uncertainties about the weather.

Silage maize core chunks are lower
The price of beef bull chunks has increased by €0,10 to €23,35 per 100 kilos. This does not apply to silage maize core chunks, which have fallen by €0,35 to €30 per 100 kilos. The price of Rose calf chunks remained the same at €25,40 per 100 kilos.
