The trade in phosphate rights will also continue to flow this week. What does it bring? Subscribe to Milk & Feed Pro to find out.
Phosphate rights trading continues to keep pace with last week, with the market neither dull nor lively. The uncertainty is slowing down the recovery of trade. For example, it is not yet certain whether phosphate rights can be written off, as can be done with poultry and pig rights.
The market assumes that the phosphate rights can be written off, but would of course like to see it in black and white.
Stable price
Members of FrieslandCampina seem to prefer to do business with fellow members. This is to increase the chance of one possible standstill to reduce. Business is rarely done for less than €200 per right.
However, the majority of trading is done around €200 per right. Outliers above this can also be observed. On balance, it yields an average price of €202 per phosphate right. This is right to last week.
