A-ware reduces the milk price for January by €4. This follows the trend of FrieslandCampina; DMK/DOC Cheese lowered the milk price slightly more.

What is the milk price?
With a supply of 800.000 kilos of milk per year, the milk price is €37,21 per 100 kilos. An annual production of 1,1 million kilos of milk yields a premium of €0,49 per 100 kilos.

Basically, it means that A-ware pays more than FrieslandCampina and DOC Kaas. However, due to the lack of appreciation for fat and protein, caution must be exercised here.

Grazing and sustainability can result in a surcharge of €1,75. Sustainability yields a maximum of €0,50 and grazing €1,25. In addition, there is a levy of €0,07 for the ZuivelNL scheme. The quality premium is €0,50.
