Transfer of phosphate rights almost started

3 January 2018 - Bart-Jan van Zandwijk - 1 reaction

A transfer of phosphate rights can be submitted for the first time from Monday 15 January. Today, Wednesday 3 January, dairy farmers will receive an overview of their phosphate rights. This is reported by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO.nl).

The organization will start sending the overview of the allocated phosphate rights today. The plan is that most of this should be completed by 15 January. The rest (several hundred) should be completed by the end of January.

You can submit a reflection from 15 January

Submit first transfer
The first transfers can only be made digitally and via the RVO.nl site. This means that it cannot be done on paper, as is the case with pig and poultry rights. After the notification, the fee must be paid, amounting to €100. The rights will be transferred within 8 weeks after paying these fees. The farmer will then receive a new overview.

Block frame law
If there is a blocking right on the phosphate rights, the bank must approve the transfer. A form can be downloaded for this. This must be signed by the bank and must be sent with the application.
