Cheese maker Royal A-ware is slightly lowering the milk price for March.
Dairy farmers who supply 800.000 kilos of milk annually will be paid €0,50 less. A-ware charges a grazing premium of €1,25, a €0,50 sustainability surcharge and a €0,50 quality surcharge.
Separate milk flow
Dairy farmers who supply the separate milk flow (cheese and other products) from Albert Heijn From now on you will receive an extra €1 per 100 kilos. This premium will increase to €2 this year and in 2019 it will be €3 per 100 kilos.
The organic milk price remains unchanged in March at €53 per 100 kilos.
