Milk prices cannot escape downward correction

No milk price escaped a downward correction in February. The positive developments in the prices of dairy products are therefore passed over to the dairy farmers. However, the declines over March come to an end or decrease to a minimum.

With an annual supply of 600.000 kilos of milk, the average milk price is €33,97 per 100 kilos (with 4,41% fat and 3,47% protein). This price is based on the prices of FrieslandCampinaDOC CheeseCall LeerdammerCono Cheese en Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods. Is the milk price of taken into account? Arla, then the price is €33,58 per 100 kilos.

Decline stagnates
Compared to the previous month, this is a decrease of approximately 7%. This means that the devaluation of milk prices is slightly less drastic than the devaluation of 9%, which was implemented a month earlier.  

An annual production of 900.000 kilos of milk yields milk prices between €32,18 (DOC Kaas) and €36,02 (Bel Leerdammer). This means that the differences between milk prices have increased further.

The amounts that can be earned with grazing, sustainability, VLOG (non-GMO milk) and other special milk flows are not included.The milk prices of the cheese makers (with an annual supply of 600.000 kilos of milk).The milk price of FrieslandCapina and Vreugdenhil (with an annual supply of 600.000 kilos).
