30 April 2018 - Wouter Baan

The price of beet pulp for the first round of the 2018/2019 campaign, Duynie has set at €1,35 per percent dry matter. In this way, the supplier keeps the price stable. The price of cigarette does rise: by €0,05 to €1,10 per percent of dry matter. This is the same price increase as last year.

The fixed price does not include discounts and surcharges. Depending on the delivery period, customers receive a flexibility discount of up to €0,08 per percent dry matter.

Competitively priced
ForFarmers has taken over the basic price of pressed pulp 1 to 1. "Duynie has put the pressed pulp on the market sharply", says Jan Webbink, trader co-products at ForFarmers. He expects livestock farmers to be interested in purchasing the product. This is because pressed pulp often scores well in the rations in terms of price. Pressed pulp also has a relatively low phosphorus content and also provides a tasty ration.

Feed subscription is a success
Duynie also reports that the feed subscription available for the third year in a row. This gives livestock farmers the opportunity to pay in installments. According to Duynie, the subscription is well on the market with a large part of the buyers.
