Milk price Vreugdenhil just above 30 euros
The bare milk price of Vreugdenhil in April remains just above €30 per 100 kilos. The milk powder producer has thus kept the price stable for the second month in a row. In recent months, however, the milk price has lost the most.

Vreugdenhil values the milk fat for April at €3 per kilo. The price of protein remains at €5,40 per kilo. With an annual supply of 800.000 kilos, the Vreugdenhil milk price is €30,58 per 100 kilos (at 4,41% fat and 3,47% protein). The milk price includes the ZuivelNL levy and a quality surcharge, the price is exclusive of VAT.

It can be said that the milk price has definitely reached a bottom, as the dairy has kept the milk price stable for the second month in a row. The conclusion of the recent price drop on the dairy market is that Vreugdenhil's milk price has made the biggest difference. Vreugdenhil was still at the top of the rankings last November milk price comparison; in April the milk price has to make do with last place.

Premiums and allowances
Premiums and allowances can be earned on top of the basic milk price. These can amount to €2,10 per 100 kilos. Of this, €1,50 can be earned through grazing and €0,60 through sustainability. When there is partial grazing, this is valued at €0,25 per 100 kilos. From 2018, dairy farmers who practice grazing will receive the premium monthly.
