The fact that the new harvest is approaching means that livestock farmers are quite cautious. This was too last week the case. However, some products managed to make a small mutation at the time, but this week they were unable to do so.

Stable prices
The price for straw (both barley straw and wheat straw) remains at €160 per tonne, free of charge. It is reported that livestock farmers have sufficient product available to last until the new harvest. This week, silage maize remains at €53 per tonne, free of charge.

There is also no movement in the price of meadow hay, which is €180 per tonne free of charge for the second week in a row. Here and there there is already speculation about the price for the new harvest for this product: €110 and €130 per ton, free of charge.

Perennial ryegrass remains at €130 per tonne free of charge and silage grass is also trading at €50 per tonne free of charge this week. Here too, livestock farmers are eagerly awaiting the new harvest.

(Text continues below the chart)The price of meadow hay has fallen back to lower levels, but is stable this week.

The feed potatoes are still in full circulation, so the price has not had a chance to rise. The price for this product remains at €22,50 per tonne, free of charge. It should be noted that if the supply does not decrease, the price has no chance of increasing for the time being.

Beer spent grain still under pressure
Traders do report that the price of spent grain remains under pressure. This caused a significant drop last week, but this week the price remains stable here too at €1,80 per percent dry matter.

Red fescue, tall fescue and meadow meadow were already sold out, meaning that the price for these products once again remained at €170, €150 and €150 per tonne, free of charge, respectively.
