Organic guaranteed price remains the same

Organic dairy farmers who supply FrieslandCampina can count on a guaranteed price of €47 per 100 kilos for the month of October. The dairy cooperative announced this on Monday, September 24. The amount is equal to the September price.
The protein value for the month of October is €767,22 per 100 kilos, the fat value is €383,61 per 100 kilos and the lactose value is €76,72 per 100 kilos.
Common price does increase
In contrast, the guaranteed price We see a plus for conventional milk, which increased by €24 on Monday, September 1, to €38 per 100 kilos. According to the cooperative, this increase was partly due to the expected increase and partly due to an underestimated milk price.
FrieslandCampina's organic guaranteed price consists of 3,47% protein, 4,41% fat and 4,51% lactose. The amounts apply to an annual supply of 600.000 kilos of milk and are exclusive of VAT.
