Cono Kaasmakers has appointed Evert Kremer as the new chairman. He will replace Klaas Sluis, who has been working in that position since 2016, with immediate effect. This was decided at the members' meeting on 14 November.
Cono says he has great confidence in the new chairman. Kremer has been vice-chairman of . since 2000 Cone and later also took up the position of secretary. Sluis also has confidence in the future chairman: "I am happy with this choice and confidently pass the gavel on to him."
To lead
Kremer says he considers it an honor to hold this position. "I want to lead the management team in the coming years, in order to further expand and safeguard our success together with the management, the supervisory board, the management team, the employees and the livestock farmers," Kremer said.
The new chairman is also a cattle farmer himself. According to Cono, his insight and managerial experience made him the ideal candidate. He is currently the chairman of the 8-member board of directors.
