Both the fat and protein prices at DOC Cheese amount to €4,34 per kilo in January. With an annual supply of 800.000 kilos, the advance milk price is €34,11 per 100 kilos, a decrease of €0,57 per 100 kilos. In addition, premiums can be earned at DOC Kaas for grazing (€1,75 per 100 kilos) and sustainability (€0,90 per 100 kilos). The maximum bonus is limited to €2,25 per 100 kilos.
In line with market
The downward movement is in line with the movement on the dairy market. Butter and cheese prices were under pressure in the fourth quarter of 2018. Also Arla en FrieslandCampina reduced the advance milk prices for January 2018.
