The cheesemaker from Heerenveen is increasing the fat, causing the price to rise by €0,12 to €3,587 per kilo. The payment price for protein remains unchanged at €5,064 per kilo. The payment price for conventional milk increases by €0,50 to €32,81 per 100 kilos of milk, with an annual supply of 800.000 kilos.

In addition, dairy farmers can also earn a sustainability premium of €0,50 per 100 kilos. A-ware also has 4 other milk flows, which are valued at a higher level.

The development of milk prices in recent months.

Not in line with market
A-ware's increase is not in line with recent developments in the dairy market. Fat prices have been under pressure in recent weeks, because the milk supply is increasing in Europe. Nevertheless, the cheesemaker made this decision; perhaps the company wants to keep in line with FrieslandCampina's guaranteed price. However, FrieslandCampina's payout is reasonable significantly higher than at A-ware.

Cono and Bel Leerdammer stable
Cono Kaasmakers and Bel Leerdammer have also announced the payment prices, albeit in February. Both cheesemakers keep the price the same. For an annual supply of 800.000 kilos of milk, Cono pays €35,46 per 100 kilos (including a quality premium of €2 per 100 kilos), while Bel Leerdammer's milk price amounts to €34,79 per 100 kilos, including a quality premium of €0,50. .100 per XNUMX kilos.
