Vreugdenhil keeps the payment price for both conventional and organic milk the same in February.
Although the fat and protein price remain the same, the milk price has decreased compared to January. This is mainly because the autumn and winter surcharge (€3,90 per 100 kilos) has been canceled from February.
Stable powder prices
The stable mutation is in line with developments on the dairy market. The market for skimmed milk powder logically counts heavily for the powder manufacturer. However, that price is currently moving without direction and remains below €2.000 per tonne.
Vreugdenhil's organic milk price also remains stable in February. A fat price of €3,92 per kilo and protein price of €8,87 per kilo results in a milk price of €46,68 per kilo. The winter allowance for organic dairy farmers will also expire.
