Van der Heiden Kaas acquires French cheese importer

Van der Heiden Kaas, an international wholesaler in Bodegraven, South Holland, has taken over Fromagerie Brigitte. This is a company that specializes in the import of French cheeses. With this, Van der Heiden is broadening its range.

Until now, Van der Heiden Kaas has focused on a wide range of cheese brands, including Dutch cheeses from Stolwijk, Gouda, Edam and Maasdam. Also delivers hthe company commodities from young to old cheese and cheese specialties. So now the package of French cheeses from Fromagerie Brigitte has been added. The acquisition amount is unknown.

A showpiece of Fromagerie Brigitte, Van der Heiden Kaas emphasizes, is the cave-aged cheese. This is cheese produced in the Netherlands, but refined in a cave in France.
