British milk supply piles record on record
Milk production in the United Kingdom maintains the high level of late 2018 in January and February. In fact, the milk supply in the first 2 months of this year reached the highest level of this century.

Milk production in the United Kingdom in February almost reached 1,2 million tonnes, which is an increase of 3% compared to February 2018. This means that British dairy farmers are expanding their lead compared to the supply in 2018, because in January the production reached more than 1,29 million tons. This is evident from the statements that the British have submitted to the European Union.
Line of expectation
The growth in milk production was in line with expectations, because this is a consequence of the extreme drought that affected the archipelago in the summer of 2018. This has also resulted in many of the dairy farms not having enough roughage to get through the winter. This has been supplemented with concentrates, which increases production.
