Milk price DOC Cheese remains the same for June
The milk price of DOC Kaas will remain the same in June 2019, after the cheese maker did implement a reduction in May.

With an annual supply of 800.000 kilos of milk, the milk price is €32,54 per 100 kilos. In addition to the milk price, premiums can be earned for grazing (€1,75), sustainability (€0,50) and VLOG (€1).
Cheese prices have risen
The reduction in the milk price in May was a result of the fact that cheese prices were under pressure in March and April. However, in the first half of May, cheese prices made significant increases again, as shown by DCA's foil cheese quotations.
The price of Gouda recently recorded above €3 per kilo, but then fell back again. The expectation on the cheese market for the medium term is reasonably positive, because stocks are tight. Milk prices are expected to remain fairly stable.
