Cono lowers milk price for the first time in 2019

Based on an annual supply of 800.000 kilos of milk and the standard Dutch contents (4,41% fat and 3,47% protein), the milk price is €34,79 per 100 kilos. That is a reduction of €0,76 compared to the advance in April.
The milk price includes a quality premium of €2 per 100 kilos. In addition, premiums can be earned for, among other things, grazing (€2 per 100 kilos).

In the milk price comparison, Cono's basic milk price for May remains ahead of FrieslandCampina. If the cheesemaker wants to remain that way in June, an increase will have to take place that month. Under the above conditions the milk price is FrieslandCampina for June €34,95 per 100 kilos.
