Cono Kaasmakers has adjusted the milk price for the month of June slightly downwards, compared to 1 month earlier. The cheese maker from Westbeemster changes in the Boerenbusinessmilk price comparison again with FrieslandCampina.
Cono has slightly reduced the value of both fat and protein for June. The fat price for affiliated members drops to €3,02 per kilo. This is the lowest fat value at Cono since the autumn of 2016. The price for protein drops slightly by 0,1% (or €0,01) to €7,04 per kilo. The last time the cooperative paid out below this level was at the end of last year.
Cono's milk price for June is €34,05 per 100 kilos of milk (at 4,41% fat, 3,47% protein and an annual supply of 800.000 kilos). This is a decrease of 2% compared to May (€34,79 per 100 kilos). The last time Cono paid below this price was at the end of 2016. In the spring of 2018, the cheesemaker was close to the current level.
