Vreugdenhil Dairy leaves milk price alone again
Vreugdenhil Dairy Foods has left the milk price for its suppliers alone for the fourth month in a row. For example, the dairy farmers are paid on average the same amount for the month of June as for March of this year.

The private dairy group announced this on Wednesday. Vreugdenhil keeps the fat price at €3,10 per kilo and the protein price at €5,70 per kilo. This results in the Boerenbusiness milk price comparison for the fourth month in a row in a milk price of €32,06 per 100 kilos (excl. VAT) at 4,41% fat and 3,47% protein with an average annual delivery of 800.000 kilos.
Vreugdenhil itself announces a milk price of €34,50 per 100 kilos (excl. VAT) at 4,41% fat and 3,47% protein and an annual supply of 1,1 million kg of milk. This includes premiums for quality, grazing and sustainability. In the Boerenbusiness milk price comparison, where the price has been standardized to compare with other dairy processors, a milk price of €32,34 per 100 kilos is achieved for an annual delivery of 1,1 million kilos.
Organic milk price
Vreugdenhil's organic milk price has to compromise slightly after three months of stability. The protein price in particular has been adjusted downwards: by €0,23 to €8,73 per kilo. Organic fat costs a dime and amounts to a value of €3,86 per kilo. This results in an organic milk price for June of €45,93 per 100 kilos at 4,41% fat and 3,47% protein for a delivery of 800.000 kilos. This is €1,24 per 100 kilos less than the €47,17 in May of this year.
Vreugdenhil itself publishes an organic milk price of €52,33 per 100 kilos for June. This is the price excluding VAT, for a delivery of 1.100.000 kg of milk, 4,41% fat and 3,47% protein, including premiums for quality, sustainability and grazing.
