Milk price Milcobel falls below 2018 level
Milcobel has kept the milk price for June of this year the same. As a result, the payout price of the Belgian dairy group is falling below the level of 2018. Then the milk price of Milcobel, producer of mozzarella, among others, started to rise sharply.

Milcobel has decided to keep the prices for fat and protein the same for the third consecutive month. The company pays the same for both milk qualities: €394,74 per 100 kilos. Milcobel itself presents a real milk price of €32,45 per 100 liters.
The company thus divides the milk price in the first half of 2019 into two quarters. In the first three months of this year, Milcobel used a real milk price paid of €33,48 per 100 liters, and in the second quarter every month €32,45 per 100 liters.
Based on the fat and protein prices used by Milcobel, the milk price for June will be in the Boerenbusiness milk price comparison amounts to €34,82 per 100 kilos at 4,4% fat and 3,47% protein.
