With a growing turnover, A-ware will have €18 million left over the past financial year at the bottom of the line. This is the same as the year before. Jan Anker, CEO of the cheese company, speaks of an excellent result.
The operating profit (EBITDA) of €64 million also remains the same as in the previous financial year. Turnover grew by 6% to â1,3 billion. Anker is pleased with the stable result. Substantial investments
A-ware invested €91 million last year. This money was mainly spent on the construction of a new mozzarella and cream factory in Heerenveen. It will be put into use at the end of this year. Due to volatile cheese and dairy prices, A-ware is keeping a lid on the possible results in 2019.Â
