Now, almost 1 year later, the market situation has turned almost 180 degrees. Many dairy farmers reportedly remain below their phosphate ceiling. That is why you can count the number of buyers on one hand, while there is more than enough supply. This causes the price of phosphate rights to decline.
In recent weeks, the quotation has already fallen by €4 to €156 per right. This week the price drop is accelerating. The listing this week yields €5,50 to €150,50 per right. This means that the quotation has fallen almost €12 in the past 125 months. The downward trend is expected to continue.
