The jury of the Boerenbusiness Awards has nominated 5 companies with their product or service for the Agribusiness Award. We will announce these in random order. Now contender number 2: CowManager with its cow monitoring system.
At CowManager they are proud to have been nominated for the Agribusines Award 2019. The company from Harmelen is one of the 5 finalists that were ultimately chosen by the jury from no fewer than 41 applications. To emphasize the team performance, all available employees are gathered for the photo when the certificate and the flowers are handed over.
Recognize disease earlier
CowManager is recognized by the jury for the cow monitoring system that the young company (founded in 2011) has developed by inventing the ear sensor technology. This allows the movements of the ear and the ear temperature to be measured and registered at any time. This means that sick cows can be identified 1 to 2 days earlier, CowManager claims, for example, than the dairy farmer can see with his own eyes.
CowManager has also developed a tool that can locate the cows directly in the barn. The dairy farmer no longer has to search and saves time. According to the company, the system is already being used by thousands of dairy farmers with 10 to over 10.000 cows in more than 30 countries.

The 5 nominees will give a presentation to the jury led by Aalt Dijkhuizen on the editorial board of . on Friday 15 November Boerenbusiness in Lelystad. The winner will be announced at the National Economic Agricultural Congress of Boerenbusiness on Wednesday 18 December in Amersfoort. Tickets are still available for this.
