CRV gets a new director from its own stable

9 December 2019 - Jorine Cosse

Roald van Noort is stepping down from his position as director and chairman of the board of directors of CRV after 12,5 years. He will pass the baton to Angus Haslett, who will fully take over the position on 1 May 2020.

With New Zealander Angus Haslett as successor, CRV welcomes its first non-Dutch director. Haslett is no stranger to CRV. He joined as Managing Director Oceania in 2009 and has been directing the business unit in the United States for some time.

CRV indicates that he has played a major role in several acquisitions, which have made a significant contribution to the company's current market position.

Time for a new leader
According to the breeding organization, outgoing director Van Noort has been of great value. He has led the company through an era of enormous changes and challenges in cattle breeding. In doing so, he has managed to position CRV as a global cattle improvement and cattle data organization.

Van Noort is proud that his successor comes from our own CRV ranks. He also indicates that he finds this a natural moment to step down and to create the space for a new leader. Van Noort will remain available for CRV until September 1, 2020 to enable a smooth transition.
