DOC Kaas will not continue the rising trend in December and will keep the milk price in January
The cheesemaker from Hoogeveen, which is part of the German cooperative DMK, will maintain the fat and protein price at €4,27 per kilo in January. With an annual supply of 1 million kilos and the standard Dutch contents, this results in a basic milk price of €32,72 per 100 kilos. This is €0,55 lower than 1 year ago.

Including bonuses for vlog (€1), grazing (€1,50) and sustainability (€0,50), the milk price can rise to a maximum of €35,97 per 100 kilos. This puts DOC Kaas in the top spot milk price comparator van Boerenbusiness just above Arla, which takes the bottom spot.
Milk prices are expected to increase gradually in the first months of 2020 can put, but DOC Kaas has not yet responded to this.
