Phosphate rights trade increases slightly, price falls

The trade in phosphate rights remains somewhat in the background given the current situation surrounding the corona crisis. Still, there has been some trading this week, but the price has continued to fall.

Despite the uncertainty on the market, the trade in phosphate rights has picked up somewhat, according to a number of commission agents. While there were traders 2 weeks ago who had not traded at all due to the quiet market, there has been some trading this week.

There is a demand for phosphate rights, and traders are also being informed about this, but they indicate that buyers are still waiting around. Hoping the price will drop even further. The DCA quotation this week amounts to an average of €117 per right, which is 2 euros lower than last week.
