Farmers express frustration about concentrate control
Once again the Dutch farmers jumped on the tractor to demonstrate. Yesterday evening a vote was taken on the feed track of Minister Carola Schouten. Despite several arguments against the measure, the plan was not brushed aside. Both Agractie and Farmers Defense Force called on the farmers to advance towards The Hague.
Yesterday evening the first farmers started their tractors, after which they went to war in large columns. In The Hague, the group present was given permission to protest in front of the Buitenhof. Despite the amount of farmers, the atmosphere is friendly, according to several reports on Twitter, among others. There is, however, a lot of police on the move and the army has also reported, but both thrive in peace.
Tractors also appeared in and around the center in other cities. Tractors were spotted in Breda, Leeuwarden and Roermond, among others.
A group of farmers gathered on the Grote Markt in Groningen. Farmers also managed to gather on the runway of Eelde airport.
In addition to the protests in cities, farmers from all over the country also went out to protest in The Hague.
At 11 o'clock there would be a protest on the Malieveld in The Hague, for now it is still pretty quiet there. It remains to be seen when the tractor-trailer will report there.
