While A-ware has increased the milk price for September for the second time in a row, Cono Kaasmakers has decided to keep the payment price for August the same. How do the processors score in the milk price comparator of Boerenbusiness?
The basic milk price of A-ware increases by 25 cents to €32,37 per 100 kilos. Add the August increase on top and you arrive at €1,05. In the milk price comparator from Boerenbusiness (bald) the milk price moves towards that of FrieslandCampina, which implemented a reduction before September. Of the processors that announce milk prices in advance, A-ware is the only one that implements a plus. Arla and DOC Kaas previously decided to remain unchanged.
The payout within the Albert Heijn concept amounts to a maximum of €38,12, calculated at 4,42% fat and 3,57% protein and an annual supply of 1 million kilos. This puts A-ware in the lead milk price comparator including bonuses and incentives.
Cono Cheesemakers
Cono keeps the milk price for August the same at €33,38 per 100 kilos, after an increase was implemented for July. Nevertheless, Cono remains (barely) at the top in the milk price comparator. Based on the dairy market, both an unchanged and a slight increase can be justified. Both A-ware and Cono rely heavily on the cheese market, which has shown a stable undertone in recent months, with an upward trend starting again in recent weeks.
