Milk price DOC Cheese steps up
DOC Kaas also increased the milk price for October. FrieslandCampina and Arla already did this before.

The basic milk price of the dairy producer from Hoogeveen increases by more than €1 to €32,07 per 100 kilos. This with an annual supply of 1 million kilos and 4,42% fat and 3,57% protein. When we compare the milk price with that of this time last year, the difference is small.
Including bonuses for grazing and vlog, among other things, the milk price can rise to a maximum of €35,32. In the milk price comparator from Boerenbusiness DOC Kaas therefore distances itself from Arla.
Butter lower, cheese higher
Based on recent developments on the dairy market, an increase in the milk price was not an option. Cheese and powder prices have risen in recent weeks, but this has not happened quickly. Moreover, the price of butter has fallen in recent weeks. Yet the trend in the milk price is upwards.
The higher milk price next month is of course a favorable development for DOC's member dairy farmers, especially now that the corona measures in the Netherlands and other countries have been tightened recently. This could have a negative impact on dairy sales in the near future.
