The basic milk price at Bel Leerdammer increases by €0,57 to €33,12 per 100 kilos. This is calculated for an annual supply of 1 million kilos with 4,42% fat and 3,57% protein. The increase is due to higher fat and protein prices, which amount to €2,80 and €6,55 per kilo, an increase of €0,05 and €0,10 respectively.
Including bonuses and premiums, the payout price can amount to a maximum of €37,22 per 100 kilos. In the milk price comparator from Boerenbusiness (both bare and maximum), the cheesemaker from Schoonrewoerd thus surpasses FrieslandCampina.
Autumn allowance at Cono
Cono Kaasmakers holds the provisional leading position in the milk price comparator for September. The basic milk price remains the same at €33,83 per 100 kilos. Including the bonuses associated with the Caring Dairy program, the milk price can rise to €37,85 per 100 kilos.
Bel Leerdammer's higher payout price did not come out of the blue. A-ware previously increased the milk price for September. FrieslandCampina implemented a reduction last month, but corrected this in October. DOC Kaas and Arla have also recently increased. The changes are in line with the increase in cheese prices in recent weeks, and the dairy market is also feeling the effects in mid-October quite firm .
